1. What we collect
- Account data — name, email, password (stored hashed).
- Identity documents — government ID and proof of address you upload, used only to attach to your dispute letters as bureaus require.
- Credit report data — the report you upload, read to generate your dispute letters.
- Billing data — handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data — basic logs (pages, errors) to keep the service working.
2. How we use it
Only to operate the software for you: generating your letters, tracking your rounds, fulfilling optional print-and-mail requests, billing, and support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your credit data for marketing.
3. Retention and deletion
Your uploaded credit report is read for letter generation and then deleted. Identity documents are kept (encrypted) only as long as needed to attach to your active dispute rounds, then removed. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through support.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers required to run the software — payment processing (Stripe), hosting and storage, and print-and-mail fulfillment when you order it — each bound to use it solely to provide their service. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sensitive documents live in access-controlled storage, and each customer’s data is isolated per account and per business.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you may cancel your subscription at any time. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights (e.g., under the CCPA for California residents) — contact support to exercise them.
7. Children
The service is for adults 18 and older; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
